Mitchell writes:

Labour is currently stumbling towards a defeat of our own. It is not yet inevitable, ...

News just in, Austin, 'Yes it is.'

The pestilence on this land that is NuLab is in its death throes. The situation is IRRECOVERABLE.

Keynesianism, monetarism ... whatever 'ism' you may try to tart things up with, will make absolutely NO DIFFERENCE.

The countrywide loathing of this government is now so self-evident that even the most dim-witted are now waking to smell the coffee.

It takes something to make the Tories look good, but by heavens, NuLab has managed to arrange for this.

Read this morning's Grauniad (15/8/8) on the incremental destruction of hard fought for 'values' like <i>habeous corpus (90/42 days) and privacy (ID cards/national database) under this abysmal administration.

NuLab is finished (and thank God for big mercies).
