MORE bad news for the benefit cheats – sorry Honourable Members. According to Tory MP Nadine Dorries, although no one else, such an atmosphere of terror prevails at Westminster that there is a real risk of a devastated parliamentarian committing suicide. Can they claim hemlock on expenses? While many have admitted to “errors”, MPs have been the beneficiaries of these in every case. Not one has said: “I’m sorry, but due to faulty accounting it seems that taxpayers owe me money.”
