I worked at a factory when I started you had to be in a Union the closed shop, then it went to half the people, then one day when we walked out on a strike after a death the Union told us they would not back us, we walked out again on wages and we were not backed, so people walked away in droves when it finally closed 350 people worked at the factory 3 people belonged to the Union, and I was one of them.

Unions spend to long on political issues these days and not enough looking after the people, web have in some cases just become the cash cow for the aims of the Unions to be political, when we called to disaffiliate from the Labour party we were called commies and Trots by the Unions.
