Kim’s not happy.

Kim Jong-nam, the eldest son of North Korea’s loopy leader Kim Jong-il, has stuck his neck out by saying he is opposed to a dynastic succession that would see the reins of power passed to his younger brother. This might be sour grapes on his part, since he was once regarded as the heir apparent himself, but was thought to have fallen from grace when he was caught trying to get into Japan with a false passport. Kim Jong-nam also said:  “For my part, I am prepared to help my younger brother whenever necessary while I stay abroad.” How very David Miliband of him.
