Weather excuses melt away

As excuses go, it’s pretty much on a par with leaves on the line. The wrong sort of weather has blown the economy off course according to Chancellor George Osborne. Well, up to a point Lord Copper. In fact, the economy was in trouble before the snow came and now that it’s gone it remains in deep freeze.
