An alternative plan to closure is to be put to the paper’s owner Kevin McGrath at a meeting scheduled for the afternoon of Friday 28 October.

This will determine whether next week’s edition will be the last or whether the title can survive long enough to implement the co-op plan, which has received much support from readers and supporters.
The only place you can read all of Tribune's articles as soon as they are published is in the magazine. To find out more about subscribing from as little as £19, click here.
