Gaby’s Deli must not die

It’s unthinkable – a property developer is aiming to close down Gaby’s Deli in Charing Cross Road.

The place where we all go after marching to Trafalgar Square, or on our evenings out in central London. The first place I ate a felaffel. The best place for lentil soup.

I’ve spoken to Gaby’s owner and the restaurant is bursting with customers and is NOT struggling financially.
Gaby’s has paid all the rising rents while other unique shops have gone under.

This guy just for some reason wants this iconic noshbar out – and wants to put a clone restaurant there instead -
another branch of Cafe Rouge or similar.

This is destroying our city and we can’t let it happen.
